MrBeast’s Viral Plan to Fix Facebook

MrBeast’s Viral Plan to Fix Facebook!

Mark Zuckerberg runs Facebook, but what if YouTube's king of viral content, MrBeast, had a say in it? Well, he does. And he thinks Facebook has one major problem that "really sucks."

MrBeast's Big Complaint: No Multi-Language Dubbing

MrBeast (aka Jimmy Donaldson) recently sat down with Mark Zuckerberg and dropped a truth bomb: Facebook Video is seriously lacking when it comes to multilingual content.

Unlike YouTube, where creators can upload multiple audio tracks that automatically play in different regions, Facebook only allows a single language per video. The result? MrBeast's international fans are left out, and his viewership on Facebook takes a massive hit.

"If I say a word, boom, the viewership's going to get cut by more than half," MrBeast said, highlighting how videos with dialogue fail to reach non-English speakers.

Zuckerberg's Response: AI to the Rescue?

Zuckerberg agreed that Facebook needs to step up its game. He admitted that most of the platform’s users don’t speak English and that AI-powered dubbing tools could be the solution. He even suggested that such technology could roll out within a year.

If that happens, creators like MrBeast could reach global audiences without needing to create multiple versions of the same video. More viewers, more engagement, more money. Everyone wins (except maybe TikTok).

MrBeast's Facebook Success (Despite Its Flaws)

Even with these challenges, MrBeast has crushed it on Facebook. In 2024, he gained more followers than anyone else on the platform. Plus, he revealed that Facebook's short-form video monetization is twice as profitable as any other platform. Who knew?

MrBeast and Zuckerberg's Unexpected Friendship

The two first met on a random Zoom call, where Zuckerberg apparently invited MrBeast to his private lake (because of course he has one) to train in MMA.

"I was so shocked because I was expecting him to be way more nerdy," MrBeast admitted.

Zuckerberg even joked that MrBeast should start making MMA content. Imagine a MrBeast challenge video featuring a cage fight with Elon Musk. The internet would explode.

What This Means for Facebook Creators

If AI-powered dubbing becomes a reality, it could be a game-changer for content creators. Here’s why:

  • Wider Reach: No more language barriers limiting audience growth.
  • More Revenue: More views = more money.
  • Better User Experience: Viewers get content in their native language without weird subtitles.

Final Thoughts: Will Facebook Actually Fix This?

Zuckerberg says changes are coming, but will Facebook deliver? If they want to keep up with YouTube and TikTok, they’d better.

One thing’s for sure: if MrBeast was CEO, this would already be done.
